——- IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION ——-
Due to the rural area the CNY BreadRun is in, closing roads for the CNY BreadRun can create detours of 15-20 minutes. We urge all runners to be ONSITE BEFORE the 8:30AM road closures.
If you are think you will not be onsite before 8:30AM, please follow these alternate routes to insure you do not have to detour.
- Coming from the South on Rt. 81 – DO NOT Exit at Tully. CONTINUE TO Lafayette, Rt. 20 exit, and take Rt. 20 East for about 12-15 mins, turning South onto Ridge Rd. (Follow the BreadRun signs). Follow that into Fabius, about 10 minutes.
- Coming from the North on Rt. 81 – Exit at Lafayette and follow the above instructions.
- Coming from Manlius, Fayetteville, Cazenovia or points North or East, Take Southbound roads (Sweet, Henneberry, Watervale, Pompey Center, Oran-Delphi), to Rt. 20. Follow Rt. 20 and turn South onto Ridge Rd. Follow that into to Fabius, about 10 mins.

Half Marathon 9:30
Both the 5K and the Half-Marathon course are run on roads closed to all vehicular traffic for the duration of the races. They meander through some of the most beautiful country-side scenery Central New York has to offer.
Note: In reference to the Half Marathon, participants should be prepared to maintain a minimum pace of a 15 minute mile. Our tail vehicle and course cut-off/diversion programs are used to ensure road re-opening timelines are met and participant safety is taken into consideration.
Half Marathon: $1,000 each top finisher (female, male)
$500 each 2nd place
$250 each 3rd
$150 each 4th
$100 each 5th
All finishers get our “Really Cool There’s No Other Medals As Cute and As Fun” medals.
and come in smack dab in the middle of the Half…take home $100..(actually maybe that check would have to be mailed because in all fairness we have to wait until the last one crosses the line)

Note: Due to the rules of High School Athletics: High school athletes may not be awarded cash prizes. Doing so will jeopardize participation on high school athletics in all sports.

Easy packet pick up at Fleet Feet, Bridge St. Dewitt, Saturday 9.20.14 from 10-3, and 9.20.14 at the F-P High School, 4-7pm and again at the F.P high school race day , 9.21.14, starting at 6:30am.
Convenient on site parking ”count on em” shuttle service if needed. ( But the short , very short, walk will be a good warm-up)
When you register sign up to support a school and proceeds from your registration fee will benefit that school.
